For yoga, dance and movement
A light-filled practice space with exposed timber roof trusses, a bank of large windows looking out to the trees and playground, and a warm parquet floor at its centre. Ideal for instructors looking for a regular slot, and for individual practitioners or small groups wanting somewhere consistent to work.
The central parquet section (4.3m × 4.7m) provides a warm, bare-wood surface for mat work, flow practices and barefoot movement. A full-length wall-mounted barre runs along one side of the room - good for ballet, barre classes, contemporary dance, yoga warm-ups and balance work. When chairs are cleared and stored in the on-site furniture bay, the full room opens to approximately 75 m² of clear floor.
The vaulted ceiling gives full headroom for standing sequences, inversions and aerial work.
Ideal for: weekly classes, workshops, small retreats, teacher-led private sessions, one-to-one tuition, ballet and barre classes.
For martial arts
A clear, uncluttered space with the dimensions and ceiling height for serious training. The room runs to 11 metres in length and the high vaulted ceiling gives full headroom for kicks, jumps and weapons forms.
Ideal for: karate, taekwondo, jiu-jitsu, judo, kickboxing, tai chi, qigong, capoeira and other martial and movement disciplines.

For meetings, workshops and events
The room seats 70 theatre-style using the on-site chairs. For cabaret or workshop layouts, six 80×80cm square tables are available alongside two larger tables - a 278×183cm banquet table and a 110×122cm table. Additional furniture can be borrowed from the adjoining Lounge when it's free.
One end of the room has a curtained presentation area - a useful focal point for talks, demonstrations or performance. Note: there's no screen or projector on site, so please bring your own if needed.
Ideal for: birthday parties, community meetings, workshops, training days, talks, club AGMs, hobby groups and one-off events.
You may also hire the ajoining Lounge for a break-out space, or to provide catering for your event. Learn more about the Lounge, or use it instead, its a smaller space.

The wider Meadowbrook site
The studio sits within the broader Meadowbrook facility. On-site sauna access is available separately, and peaceful walking trails run alongside the brook - making this a particularly good base for wellness practitioners who want to offer their guests something beyond the session itself.

⚠ Please note: noise from the bar below
The studio sits above Things happen here (bar). There can occasionally be sound bleed from events held downstairs or outside - something worth knowing about if you're planning a quiet or sound-sensitive session such as meditation, a sound bath or restorative yoga.
Most daytime and early-evening sessions are unaffected. Larger events and live music tend to be on weekend evenings. We recommend checking the events calendar before booking.
